Established in 1981, XS is a theatrical equipment and event production company based out of Kansas City, MO. We specialize in unique solutions to challenging event locations. From sound reinforcement in venues with troublesome acoustics to providing solutions to exceed clients’ expectations when conventional lighting or video setups don’t meet their needs, our team has proven that we have the skill and equipment necessary to deliver the results our clients desire.
Speaking of equipment, we have made a significant commitment to producing our events as sustainably as possible by utilizing LED fixtures whenever appropriate. This investment in battery-powered and wirelessly-controlled LED technology allows us to provide excellent stage lighting and video capture even in instances where the use of power or data cables is not feasible. We also sell theatrical equipment and expendables, including gaffer tape, gels, and theatrical lamps.

Food Now Event – We have provided sound and lighting to many events, but nothing can compare to our Food Now Event on 13th Street in Historic West Bottoms. Even though the event was simple in nature, the ambiance we were able to create with our services helped make that night a memorable one for all of the Kansas City Foodies that attended.
